La Chaufferie – Fondation Fiminco
From June 26th until July 25th 2021
The Fondation Fiminco presents “Pleins Feux !”, the exhibition of the first class of artists in residency.
After eleven months of residency, the artists are taking over the spaces of the Chaufferie, an opportunity for them to show the works initiated or developed at the Foundation.
During their residency, the artists were able to give free rein to their research and creation process, and to cross-reference their practice with other cultural, political and social contexts. A “breathing space” envisaged as a time for reflection, trials and experimentation.
Within the workshops and through the tools made available to them, they were able to explore, sometimes for the first time, forms of creation that are for some at the origin of the works presented. If the exhibition marks a stage, that of the end of this first year of residency, it also opens the way to new encounters and beautiful perspectives.
