About Marielle Chabal
Marielle Chabal is an artist, director and researcher. She dedicates her work to the construction of speculative fictions – that she names thought experiments – to make the spectators question the world surrounding them. She also applies them through her fictions, to build communities of knowledgeable people around her. Her works may take the form of performative renderings of symposiums, films or abundant art installations. Her projects, moved by a collective energy, are devices that allow us to apprehend the political phenomenons that overwhelm us, so we can reinvent other realities where we can live differently, in tune with other visions of the world and a necessary reconsideration of the social role of art.
