The Fondation Fiminco is pleased to welcome you on September 19 and 20 for the Journées Européennes du Patrimoine 2020. Do not miss the opportunity to discover this former industrial site converted into a cultural center dedicated to contemporary art, in Romainville (Seine-St Denis). This new cultural quarter of 46,000 m2 gathers the Fondation’s artist residency, its exhibition space “La Chaufferie” as well as various cultural spaces (art galleries, Jeune Création association, Frac Île-de-France reserves, etc.).
You will not only be able to explore this industrial heritage site but also visit the “Negotiating Borders” and “Visible Sensible” exhibitions, that are simultaneously held in La Chaufferie until October 31.
“Negotiating Borders” portrays the contemporary Korean art scene while depicting one of its most significant symbols, the border that separates the two Koreas.
“Visible Sensible” is an exhibition at the crossroads between art, science, and technology. It explores the possible futures of our daily life: our cities, our homes, our public spaces, real and virtual. This exhibition is part of the European S + T + ARTS: SCIENCE + TECHNOLOGY + ARTS program and is co-produced with La French Tech Grande Provence.

Open Houses on September 19 and 20 will take place from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. as well as a guided tour on September 19 at 3 p.m.
