About Livía Melzi
Trained as an oceanographer, she graduated from Paris VIII with a Master’s degree in Photography and Contemporary Art. She attended, in 2022, an Art & Literature doctoral program at The University of Zurich. In 2021, she presented her research at the 65th annual Salon de Montrouge, for which she was a Grand Prize laureate, as well as at the Rencontres Photographiques of the 10th arrondissement, the Satellite Image Festival of Nice, and finally at FUNARTE in Brasilia. In 2022, she participated in the Circulation(s) festival as well as in the Athens Photo Festival. Livía Melzi is a laureate of the Research and Creation Support Program from the Lille Institut pour la Photographie and takes part in the LABVERDE art residency located in the Brazilian Amazon. The artist is represented by the Ricardo Fernandes gallery in Saint-Ouen.
