Once traced with a pencil or a feather and confined to a sheet of paper, the drawing has gained new supports, until increasingly becoming prosperous and taking up more space. This session is an opportunity to retrace the history of this discipline and discover different techniques up to the most contemporary forms (wall drawing, digital drawing…).
Philippe Piguet is an independant art critic and curator and in charge of the contemporary art programming of the Chapelle de la Visitation in Thonon-les-Bains. He is appointed General Curator of the Normandy Impressionist Festival 2020 and collaborates with the magazines /art absolument/ and art press. From 2010 to 2018, he was Artistic Director of DRAWING NOW PARIS.
