About Keita Mori
After studying at Tama University of Art in Tokyo, Keita Mori continued his training with a Master’s degree at the Université de Paris VIII and at the l’École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-arts de Paris. Keita Mori works with architecture, in an extremely sparse way, composing huge mural drawings of geometrical shapes, using cotton or woollen threads. In 2017, the Drawing Lab in Paris presented a personal exhibition of his work. He has taken part in many exhibitions in France and abroad, notably at the Fondation suisse / Pavillon le Corbusier, in Paris (2014, France), at the Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg, Wolfsburg (2015, Germany), at the National Art Center in Tokyo (2018, Japan), at the Aomori Contemporary Art Centre, Aomori (2018, Japan). In 2014 he was selected for the Révélations Emerige grant and in 2016 he took part in the 61st Salon de Montrouge. His works are part of many private and public collections including the Artothèque Ouest Provence, the FRAC PACA in Marseille, the FRAC Artotèque du Limousin, in Limoges. He is represented by the Catherine Putman gallery in Paris.
