Sonata Baliuckaite

Sonata Baliuckaitė Arlauskienė is a Lithuanian art critic, curator, and art producer. She is the long-term Artistic Director of the International Contemporary Art Fair ArtVilnius and has contributed to its development since its inception.

As a curator at a gallery, she develops artistic programmes and works closely with artists, significantly contributing to their professional growth. She has organised numerous exhibitions in Lithuania and abroad.

In her practice, she focuses on contemporary art processes and current issues, working with both emerging and established artists, initiating new projects and forms of collaboration. She is also interested in the contexts and dynamics of the art market.
