Simon Kluth

Simon Kluth is an actor and musician. He received a scholarship from the German Music Competition and was awarded the Lower Saxony Music Education Prize for the „Composer Slam“, which he founded. He made guest appearances at Deutsches Theater Berlin, the National Opera Helsinki, the Royal Opera House London and in international TV and Film productions. He directed the music short film “Kreisleriana“ which was screened at various international festivals. Simon is a founding member of the ensemble „SPORT“, which produces theater and musical theater productions in Germany and Switzerland. He was a scholarship holder of the Baden-Wuerttemberg Art Foundation and the Claussen-Simon-Foundation.

“Until I find you” (wt) is a solo performance inspired by John Irving's novel of the same name about the protagonist Jack's search for his missing father. As a musician and actor, Simon Kluth focuses on cross-genre character work in this piece and explores how he can move between the formats of theater and concert.
