Marianna Faleri
Born in Rome in 2000, she works across Rome, Paris, and Calabria in southern Italy. Marianna is a visual artist whose multidisciplinary practice spans textiles, ceramics, and installation. She explores the history of places through intricate weavings and ephemeral elements, investigating textile transmissions and the social ecosystem they reveal, seeing fabric as the skin of a territory. Her work aims to preserve and eternalize forgotten practices and territories. Her interest in vestiges stems from the concept of Restanza, defined by Vito Teti as “feeling anchored and at the same time disoriented in a place to be protected and radically regenerated.”
