David Le Borgne
David Le Borgne is a multidisciplinary artist trained at the CNSMDP, whose work combines choreography, video and installation. After dancing for Alain Platel (Nicht Schlafen) and Christian Rizzo (Une maison), he developed a research project in which the body acts as a plastic and sensory material. His work questions states of saturation, slowness and expenditure, in response to contemporary logics of control and optimisation.
During his residency at the Fondation Fiminco, he will develop La brûlure la plus lente, a project undertaken with his twin brother Simon Le Borgne. This installation-performance explores a tipping point between release and restraint of energy, between acceleration and suspension of time. Through the intersection of sound, image, light, object and gesture, he opens up a space of sensitive friction, where temporalities overlap and dislocate, revealing a living matter that is both incandescent and flickering.
