Alessandra Leta

Alessandra Leta (Milan, 1997) is a lens-based visual artist. Weaving together image, sculpture, and installation, she works with found images and objects, which she retrieves especially on the internet. Her current artistic practice explores the logics behind vision and the display mechanisms that shape desire, authority, and memory. Recent exhibitions include Kunsthalle Basel (2025); Fondazione Oelle, Catania (2025); Careof, Milan (2025); B-Part, Berlin (2024); Paris Photo (2022); BASE, Milan (2022). She received the Carte Blanche Étudiant from Paris Photo and Fondation PICTO in 2022 and the Mila Award for Contemporary Photography in 2025. She lives and works between Alsace, FR and Basel, CH.
